TANNUM SANDS HOTEL URBAN DEVELOPMENT


Tannum Sands Hotel
It is proposed to develop a master planned community containing architecturally-designed residential Apartments and Townhouses in addition to the redevelopment of the Tannum Sands Hotel & Bottle Shop with an entertainment complex that will contain a Hotel, Motel, Conference/Function facility, Bottle Shop and Restaurant.

The site is occupied by the premises of the Tannum Sands Hotel (Pacific Avenue, Tannum Sands) which has an area of approximately 1.7 hectares. The Tannum Sands Hotel and Bottle Shop currently operates on the premises and it is proposed that the new apartments, townhouses, motel, hotel conference/function facility and bottle shop will replace these uses.

The redevelopment of the Tannum Sands Hotel will provide modern dining, bar and conference/function facilities while the proposed motel will accommodate the growing need for tourist accommodation within the Tannum Sands area.

The proposed Tannum Sands Hotel Urban Development will contain approximately 105 apartments within two architecturally-designed high quality buildings and 14 two storey townhouses. These dwellings will introduce a range of 2 and 3 bedroom houses providing variation in housing choice within Tannum Sands
